A: The floating cover is primarily designed to be a barrier that limits convection through the water evaporating. The conduction resistance (R-value) is quite low at approximately R-2 so we do not anticipate this having your desired effect.

A: Yes. This cover is designed to be cut down to your spa's inside dimensions.
