Q: How does this product work....how do you use it.....and how often is it needed?
A: This filter cleaner is a soaking product, but also can be utilized as a spot cleaner. As a soak, you mix 16 oz. of SpaPure Filter Cleaner with 2.5 gallons of fresh water. Insert your filter(s) and soak them to release the contaminants from it. The product can also be sprayed on the filter as a spot cleaner (sprayer not included).
Filters should be cleaned once per month, but this process can be as simple as spraying them down with a hose and fresh water. You should only need to soak your filters when you are changing your water every 3-4 months.
