Q: Will this cover lifter fit a Hot Springs Vista tub?
A: Yes. Though a bit long at 99.5", the Hot Spring Vista also has 12" radii rounded corners which are compatible with this Covermate 2. The side arms may not quite reach the middle hinge, but the system will still work.
Q: How do we install the Covermate 2 on our hot tub?
A: The brackets for the Covermate 2 are screwed into the side of your spa's cabinet. Installation instructions can be found at http://www.spa-mart.com/archives/cm2-install.pdf.
Q: Our tub is filled with water. Do we need to lift the tub to install this cover lifter?
A: No. The standard Covermate 2 spa cover lifter does not slide under the spa so you will not have to drain and lift the spa to install it. Its mounting brackets attach to the side of the cabinet.
Q: Will this lifter fit a 2002 Sundance Cameo spa?
A: Yes it will fit a 2002 Sundance Cameo Spa.
Q: If this cover lift is replacing another one can the same holes be used on the cabinet or do new ones have to be drilled?
A: New holes will have to be drilled.
